Since 2016, proyectoamil, in collaboration with Rodrigo Gómez Olivos (Chile, 1986) and Martin Gustavsson (Sweden, 1964), has been running Haciendo Contexto, a collaborative contemporary art laboratory. Based on the principle of learning by doing, the program promotes collaboration among its participants through an open nationwide call, bringing together students, young artists, and self-taught individuals from different backgrounds.

The goal is to create a working and meeting space in a city where opportunities for contemporary art education are limited. Since its inception, the project has maintained a consistent practice of cooperation, reflection, and creation. More than just a series of editions, Haciendo Contexto is conceived as a continuous and flexible process, adapting to each moment, with its archive and public presentations extending the collective experience.
