Andrade's work is situated at the intersection of architecture and sculpture. In this liminal space, he addresses the constant confrontation between and questions the limits that separate the public and the private, the social and the individual, containers and their content.
The pieces are units and also stand as structures that demarcate areas and are in relation to the human body and its scale. They take the human body as a measuring standard, as the basis for formal proportions, and as an index of spatial extension, along with the beings that traverse, occupy, and transform space.
He has presented individual exhibitions in México DF, Bogotá, Austin, Texas y Lima. His work has also been included in a number of collections like the ones from Museo de Arte de Lima – MALI, Hochschild and Mario Testino, among other private collections from Europe and Latin America.

El trabajo de Miguel Andrade se sitúa en la intersección entre la arquitectura y la escultura. En este intermedio, plantea la constante confrontación y cuestionamiento entre los límites de lo público y lo privado, lo social y lo personal y el contenedor y el contenido.
Las piezas que trabaja son unidades pero también se erigen como estructuras que demarcan áreas y están en gran relación con el cuerpo humano y su escala. Tomando este como medida de un objeto, como proporción para una estructura, y como un índice de extensión espacial. Así también como el ente que transita, ocupa y transforma el espacio.
Ha exhibido individualmente en México DF, Bogotá, Austin, Texas y Lima. Su obra se encuentra en distintas colecciones como la del Museo de Arte de Lima, la colección Hochschild y la colecciónTestino entre otras colecciones privadas en Latinoamérica y Europa.
