Antonio Paucar & Polen ceramic studio

Antonio Paucar (Huancayo, 1973) Currently lives and works in Berlin and Huancayo. In 1997 he studied philosophy at the Humboldt University in Berlin. In 1998 he started his studies in visual arts at the Kunsthochschule Berlin-Weisensee and from 2001 he continued his studies in visual arts at the Universität der Künste Berlin, UdK. In 2005 he completed a postgraduate program in visual arts with Professor Rebecca Horn at the Universität der Künste Berlin, UdK.

A co-production of Matadero Madrid, AECID (Spanish Agency for International Cooperation and Development) and Proyecto AMIL

 

Proyecto AMIL and the Centro de residencias artísticas de Matadero Madrid are pleased to announce that Antonio Paucar and Polen ceramic studio, a collective formed by Elizabeth Vásquez and Frances Munar, have been selected for the mobility program of artistic residencies co-produced by Proyecto AMIL, AECID and Matadero Madrid within the framework of ARCO 2019, where Peru will be the guest country.

 

Flurina Badel & Jérémie Sarbach

Badel and Sarbach grew up in the small mountaineer villages in the Swiss Alps and studied art as a second degree. In 2015, Flurina received her Master's degree and Jérémie his Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts at the Institut Kunst HGK FHNW Basel and at the Cooper Union NYC. Currently Jérémie is completing his Master’s degree in Fine Arts at Institut Kunst HGK FHNW Basel and at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Vienna. Badel/Sarbach’s work has been exhibited in Europe, Canada and the USA.
